About
It started with a slip joint knife.
A friend showed me one they’d made, and that was it. I started down my own knife making path.
I got my first taste of knife making back in 2012, at a course with Thomas Gurner (one of only two Master Bladesmiths in Australia). But it wasn’t until I did a five-day Knifemaking Foundations course at Tharwa Valley Forge that I decided to turn my hobby into something more serious.
I’m a hands-on maker, so when you buy a knife from me, you’re getting a one-of-a-kind product that I’ve hand forged, ground and heat treated in my workshop in Perth, Western Australia. I also make my own pattern welded steels.
For me, knife making is a continual challenge (in a good way). And it’s a great feeling to put my handmade tools in the hands of professional chefs and home cooks alike.
