220mm Chinese cleaver
This a chinese style cleaver, which despite its size, is designed to be an all purpose kitchen knife handling tasks such as chopping, slicing and mincing. Compared to the other cleavers I offer, this knife is much thinner behind the edge and is designed to handle lighter style tasks.
The cleaver is hand forged from a san mai of 52100 high carbon steel and wrought iron with a brute de forge finish. The flat grind has a slight convex at the tip to aid with food release. As with all my knives the spine and the choil are rounded for comfort and the handle features some mineralised Tasmanian Blackwood and a yellow G10 spacer.
