80mm Bird and Trout knife

Every couple of years I get the urge to make a hunting knife, and whilst an 80mm cutting edge isn't your typical hunter, its makes for a perfect bird and trout knife. As the name suggests a bird and trout knife is designed to process birds and trout, but also many other smaller animals and outdoor tasks. 

This knife features an integral bolter and is forged from a damascus of 1084 and 15n20 high carbon steel in a light twist pattern. The blade features a hollow grind to reduce weight and to allow for a keen cutting edge, and the are some tight curled miniritchie with stainless steel pins. Finally the knife comes with a hand sewn sheath from vegetable tanned leather.
